Suwannee Valley Quilt and Old Time Craft Festival

The Suwannee Valley Quilt and Old Time Craft Festival, will be held this Saturday, March 12th, 2011 from 9:00am – 4:00pm in Trenton, FL.

Last years Festival was a rousing success with approximately 5000 people walking around the turn-of-the-century Trenton Railroad Depot and up and down Main Street. There were quilts on display both inside and outside the historic buildings on Main Street all day. Inside the Old Railroad Depot Miniature Quilts from the Quilting Bees were showcased in the Depot as well as a display of Art Quilts from Tallahassee Quilter’s Unlimited from their challenge “From Canavas to Quilt“; while outside the “Interlachen Stitchin Sisters” were featured.
See you there!

  1. I would like to know more about your group. Are you a guild? I'm moving to Gainesville in the near future and am also a quilter. I belonged to the day guild in Gainesville a few years ago but my job has prevented me from going.

  2. Dorothy: Thanks for your interest. We are the local guild for the national Modern Quilt Guild. We are new and are still a very informal groups of modern quilters. We have no dues, no rules, and are more like a group of quilters who like to get together, share ideas, have workshops, and just quilt! There is also a more traditional guild in town (which I'm also a member of) you can see their website at:
