November Meeting Recap

Thanks to everyone who came out to this month’s meeting and to Lora for giving us an awesome hexagon demo.

We had a great time! Tonight, I handed out some door prizes from The Warm Company. I know all you ladies will put your prize to good use.  If you would like to write up a quickie post (1 paragraph or so) on the product you received with your opinion and review if it that would be great! I will post it here so other guild members can learn about some products we may have never tried before.
Showing off out freebies from The Warm Company!
Lora was generous enough to share her hexie knowledge with us and turns out the process is not as terrifying as most of  us thought it would be.
Cute hexagons!

Her setup- some are cut out by hand and others with the AccuQuilt Go!

How to use template plastic for a large hexagon.
Thanks, Lora!
As usual everyone brought some amazing projects for show and tell. Here are a few pictures:

Happy quilting! See you next month on Dec. 5th same place, same time. We are planning for the December meeting to be like a small holiday party so stay tuned for details on that!
